Feta Burgers
2 lb lean ground meat1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed1 package feta cheese1 can Rotel tomatos1 egg1 tbs Worcestershire saucegarlic powder to tastesalt a pepper to taste
- Squeeze as much of the liquid out of the spinach as possible. The dryer the spinach the better the patties hold together.
- Mix all ingredients in large bowl until combined (do not over mix).
- Form patties from mixture.
- Cook over medium high heat in large oiled skillet to desired doneness.
Notes:
- We usually eat these without buns or condiments, but with sides and/or a salad.
- I have occasionally grilled chopped onions, bell pepper and garlic and added to the mixture (I like it better this way, but the kids not so much).
